Maybe it was you. Maybe you were that kid that got bullied all the time because you didn’t have those fancy clothes, you wore shoes that barely had a sole and carried a lunchbox to school that was empty most of the time. But you were also a hard worker, and an athletic young man with perseverance. And in the long term, that would make the difference.
That 9 percent. We don’t really know who is responsible for the new Supra. You would think Toyota, but we are not sure about that. Because we have a feeling that the audience and the fans of the Japanese brand may well be responsible for the current Supra. You see, die-hard fans wear T-shirt with the three overlapping ellipses logo, not knowing that they belong to the 9 percent. The other 91 percent are satisfied with their cars.
Carnapped. Toyota has done a few things right, and the new Supra for sure is one of them. However let’s not forget that it is the same brand who gave us the Prius. And there is something to be said about that. As you know, unlawful transportation of a person against their will is called kidnapping. And therefore we ask for your unconditional alertness! If you see a Prius, the chance is extremely high that the driver is carnapped against his will. Do not interfere! Call the police, and the will take the necessary actions to release the driver from his delicate situation. Being seen in a Prius is something we wouldn’t wish for even our worst enemy.
Chris Spencer. After a rough couple of years of school you graduated with great distinction. Chris Spencer and his friend would never harass you again. It doesn’t take long before you find a job, and a couple of years later you have managed to start your own business. Your dad always said, what doesn’t kill you makes you alive and well. Or not dead. So you found the perseverance to make it in life, and generally that comes with awards. And the day has arrived to receive one of those awards: a brand-new Toyota Supra…
Hey sexy lady. And since you graduated with honours, you are smart enough to know that a stock car is as cool as Scarlett or Angeline in a niqab. So time to bring a visit to Manhart Performance. The standard Supra isn’t underpowered at all, but with the Manhart Performance upgrade noticeably faster and more agile. Because of not being good enough in their opinion, they changed the stock suspension to a KW Variant 3 suspension. It not only lowers the car, but also increases the performance level in tight turns and on high speed runs.
Horsepower hoarder. Stock the Supra delivers 340 hp and 500 Nm. Not bad, but not really enough to play with the bigger boys. And that’s where Manhart comes in the picture with their MHtronik Powerbox and ECU Remapping. At the same time they also replace the standard exhaust with a Manhart stainless steel exhaust system with valve control, or additional they can even offer a downpipes with 300 Cells HJS catalytic converter. The result is six-cylinder with an impressive 450 hp and 650 Nm of torque. Though Manhart is also the company that would sell you a BMW M5 with 800 hp or a family car like the X3 with 600 hp. So maybe the future will bring an even stronger Supra from Manhart.
Chris is back. And then it’s time to let the beast go. Your first drive in your brand-new Supra with a set of Manhart 20 inch concave wheels. After a little run on the track, it is time to go home and put your new jewel in the garage. On your way home you need to stop for a red light. On your right side another Toyota pulls up. Behind the drivers wheel sits an older lady, and on the passengers seat a familiar face. It’s Chris Spencer, your classmate from high school.
Drama alert. Oh, did we mention that the Toyota was a Prius model? In an ideal world karma would be a bitch, and Chris was still living with his mom and she was driving him around in her Prius. Although unfortunately that wasn’t the case. As a matter of fact, this Prius was owned by Chris his mother, but she was driving Chris to the Lexus dealer, where he was going to pick up his brand-new Lexus LC. So guess the moral of the story is that this could be a great script for a drama, yet not for a feelgood film.
